Since you left, I've been going crazy, I watch you through your window when you're changing
I feel I must introduce myself – I am William Birkin, and I will be teaching chemistry and biology courses. If you happen to be one of my students, ensure that you come to class prepared and if you fall asleep, you will find various projectiles hurled at you. If you are uninterested in the topic, take another course.

Office hours will be posted on my door.

H-hurl things at them, really?

Efficient way to regain their attention.

Don't you think that would make them not want to take your class to make sure they never get hit with something? Th-that's scary...

They should not take any class if they're just going to sleep through it.

But you shouldn't threaten people... It's not polite! It's just as not polite as sleeping in class would be.

It's not a threat.

It seems like one.

It is questionable whether one will go through with a threat or not.

Here, there is no question.

Or it's more honest. Depends on how you look at it.

Sure, it's honest. But it's still mean. What person will want to take your class knowing something like that might happen if they step out of line?

With threats of throwing things at them, how could students refuse your class?

Is it, or are you just saying that? It's working out well, if you must know. My classes are still finding their footing, but they've been going smoothly. With these coming two weeks, they'll be even better.

I do not envy you. I would not want to be in your position. Though I assume your students at least pay attention?

Not many people would, I'd wager. Oh yes, they know to pay attention.

I might be interested in sitting in on a class or two, to observe your teaching methods.
